At the K9 club we aim to give you all the tools that you will need to give your dog the basics that it will need in good manners and obedience.
You and your dog will learn:
The Sit, Down & Stand positions. To Stay. To come back when called. Have good food manners. To Stay in the sit and the down position.
You can start training your puppy after he/she has had her vaccinations, (this is usually around 12 weeks old), however ask your Vet if you are unsure of when to start! Here at the K9 Club we usually take puppies up to the age of 11 months as we feel that it is good for younger and older puppies to socialise with each other.
To Wait.To greet other dogs correctly. To walk nicely on a lead without pulling. To greet other people correctly i.e not jumping up.To be under control when leaving or entering doorway.
Don't worry, we cater for all ages ...... If you have recently re-homed your dog, or have had your dog from a puppy and have just not been able to fit any training in, then our 'Beginner Handling Class' will be ideal. The format and what you will learn is the same in part to that of the puppy class (as above), however the benefits of this class are that we cater for all age ranges from all walks of life.
